Candles, Cranberries, and Magic Ice

Candles, Cranberries, and Magic Ice is a fun project that can take just a little bit of time but the beautiful results are worth it.

The supplies you need are:

Place the candle holder inside the large vase.

Carefully begin filling with greenery in the space outside the candle holder. This is when I like to use a skewer or chopstick for assistance.

Add cranberries.

When you are ready to add an ice layer, crumple a strip of plastic wrap.

Begin pushing into the area above the greenery and cranberries.

Add more saran wrap if you would like a thick layer of ice.

Slowly add water until you get almost to the top. My inner cylinder for the candle started floating a bit, but settled down after I finished pouring the water in.

This is the way I layered it the first time.

Then I completely redid it and this was my second version. There are no rules. Just enjoy your own creativity!
